Found this news arti­cle. Can Uri Geller be trusted or is this just a broad exag­ger­a­tion? I can believe that it could have hap­pen. Given the evi­dence for Remote View­ing it cer­tainly seems plau­si­ble.

Her­zliya, Israel (AHN) — Accord­ing to an Israeli-born psy­chic Uri Geller, the Decem­ber 2003 cap­ture of for­mer Iraqi leader Sad­dam Hus­sein was not sim­ply a mat­ter of luck or the work of sophis­ti­cated intel­li­gence gath­er­ing. Rather, mem­bers of a US para­nor­mal pro­gram used psy­chic pow­ers to locate the tiny hole con­tain­ing the bearded and bedrag­gled dictator.

Geller claims to have worked for the Cen­tral Intel­li­gence Agency dur­ing the Cold War. He said on Mon­day that his knowl­edge of the psy­chic dis­cov­ery of Sad­dam is gath­ered from a high-level source in the secret US para­nor­mal program.

He said he held let­ters reveal­ing the infor­ma­tion but refused to name his source.

In an inter­view with Reuters, Geller said, “You remem­ber when they found Sad­dam Hus­sein in Iraq? A sol­dier walked over to a rock, lifted it and then found a trap door and found him in there. Well, I know that that sol­dier walked over to that rock because he got infor­ma­tion from a ‘remote viewer’ from the United States.“

The ‘remote viewer’ accord­ing to Geller is a kind of psy­chic who located Sad­dam with his or her mind thou­sands of miles away.

Offi­cials for the U.S. did not take time to com­ment on the sub­ject, only not­ing that a source close to Sad­dam had spo­ken of his where­abouts under interrogation.

Last year, a Brazil­ian psy­chic attempted to col­lect a $25 mil­lion reward for Saddam’s cap­ture. The psy­chic said that he had writ­ten let­ters to the U.S. gov­ern­ment with explicit descrip­tions of the ousted lead­ers hid­ing hole.
