Major Ed Dames: Hi.

Michael Jura: Hi Ed. Let’s start with one of the quick and easy ones. What is remote view­ing, and how did you get involved in remote viewing?

Major Ed Dames: Remote view­ing is in essence, sys­tem­atic ESP. It’s extrasen­sory per­cep­tion but it’s turned into a skill. We were born with an innate fac­ulty to be able to have ESP but what we do in our busi­ness is to turn this innate fac­ulty into a skill, that’s what this is, sys­tem­atic ESP. I got involved in this because I was an intel­li­gence offi­cer in very high lev­els of US gov­ern­ment and this was one of the tools at my dis­posal to col­lect intel­li­gence, but I was so enthralled with it that I stepped down to become the oper­a­tions and train­ing offi­cer of this psy­chic spy unit, which was the DIA/CIA Star­gate program.

Michael Jura: Very inter­est­ing. And this leads me to one of the most com­mon ques­tions that we received. Why did gov­ern­ment fund­ing stop for this program?
