Remote Viewing - Astral Projection Research by the Monroe Institute

Interesting reading - does it get you thinking?

Projectors claim that during an astral voyage, communication with other projectors or spirits is possible. Sometimes the projector reported being attached to his/her physical body by a silver cord analogous to the umbilical cord. Pets have been said to react in a frightened manner when encountering a projector, and some people claim to have seen an astrally projecting person’s spirit as a colored beam or shot of light darting around the room.

brain scan In addition to anecdotal evidence, laboratory experiments have shown that a sleeping person can be aware that they are dreaming (often referred to as lucid dreaming), and some of these subjects claim to have had out-of-body experiences. Modern science generally interprets this as a purely physiological occurrence within the human body, explained by subconscious ideas that have been inflated by an imaginative retelling. Astral projectors find their firsthand experiences compelling enough to validate the dualism of body and spirit, and believe they have visited another world.

Robert Monroe, founder of the Monroe Institute, published several accounts of his experiences of astral projection, including Far Journeys (ISBN 0385231822). Monroe developed a method he calls Hemisync to induce mental states that are favorable for projection. Hemisync is a synchronization of the brainwaves of both of the brains’ hemispheres or lobes. This is said to work by altering brain waves using sounds, together with meditative instruction, listened to on headphones. The process based on a concept referred to as binaural beats.

An exhaustive reference, which includes techniques and types of out-of-body experiences and related phenomena, is the 1,200+ page Projectiology by Dr. Waldo Vieira, MD (ISBN 8586019585), which has over 1,907 bibliographic entries from sources in 18 languages on the topic.

Remote Viewing: Using TV to improve understanding and awareness

New TV series project is adventure into unusual and ‘transcendent’ phenomena, say developers

Steve Hammons, August 05, 2008Beauty with headphones

Can a new TV series help improve communication, education, acclimation and understanding about unusual phenomena?

The development team working on the proposed TV show hopes so.

The series, tentatively titled “Joint Recon Study Group,” follows a small, special research and operations team of military officers and civilians as they investigate emerging anomalous and “transcendent” developments.

Executive producer Joseph McMoneagle is determined to make sure the TV series project is accurate regarding a wide range of military, intelligence and paranormal elements.

McMoneagle, a retired U.S. Army intelligence warrant officer, was “Remote Viewer #001″ of the military intelligence Project STARGATE that researched and implemented a specific ESP protocol called “remote viewing” in support of numerous Department of Defense and national intelligence agencies for twenty years.

His previous scriptwriting experience on USA Network’s “The Dead Zone” and his membership in the Writer’s Guild of America-East (WGA-E) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) will also be helpful, the project development team says.

Joe says, “Few realize the extent to which the government will go to use paranormal abilities in solving problems with critical national implications. We want to demonstrate this reality in authentic settings.”
Producer C.F. York noted that “Joe will bring a real-world feel to the new series so that viewers can see how anomalous phenomena sometimes interact with current military and intelligence applications.”

SMALL SCREEN AND EMERGING PHENOMENA

The TV series is based on the two novels and screenplay by executive producer Steve Hammons.

The novels, MISSION INTO LIGHT and the sequel LIGHT’S HAND, followed the women and men of the Joint Recon Study Group and their involvement in subjects like ESP and remote viewing, government dolphin research, DNA genetics mysteries, UFOs, crop circles, ancient human cultures, American Indian legends and prophecies, strange discoveries in modern physics and other phenomena as they currently exist on the cutting edge of reality.

The show’s science advisor is Harold E. (”Hal”) Puthoff, a respected theoretical and experimental physicist. Puthoff, a former Navy intelligence officer, is president and CEO of the Austin, Texas, research firm EarthTech International, Inc.

Puthoff has pointed out that, “The interesting developments going on in physics lately have brought us to where science fact is outstripping science fiction. Wormholes and warp drives, quantum entanglement and teleportation, multidimensional universes – these are now standard fare in mainstream science journals.”

“Based on this, phenomena that would have seemed outrageous even just a decade or two ago cannot now be rejected out of hand without careful scrutiny. The playing field of reality has expanded,” Puthoff stated.

Producer York said, “Having people like Joe McMoneagle and Hal Puthoff involved in the development of the series helps to place the show in a context of realism that many episodic shows dealing with anomolous phenomena often lack.”

COMMUNICATING WITH AUDIENCES

Leading edge discoveries about subjects like time travel, ESP, teleportation, UFOs and similar amazing ideas are now being seriously investigated by scientific researchers. And, millions of people of all ages around the world are very interested in these kinds of topics, say the show’s developers.

As a result, they will reach out to a demographically wide audience of TV viewers who may not be interested in science fiction, but will be fascinated by “science fact” and the characters portrayed within the series.

The show is planned to be an exciting and thought-provoking adventure for viewers of many ages, backgrounds and interests.

“We feel it is important to strike a balance between challenging the audience with story questions while at the same time avoiding audience frustration which can sometimes set in when questions outweigh answers,” York pointed out. “It is important to give the audience a payoff when they are tuned in to the stories you are telling.”

York also said, “One challenge for any contemporary series is to balance the more episodic oriented shows with those shows dealing with a longer term plot arc. We want to satisfy both types of viewers and sometimes that is difficult to do.”

“However, by focusing on longer term plot elements that viewers are aware of in the real world, it becomes much easier to tune in to an individual episode and understand what is going on, despite the fact it may be a longer term plot arc,” York explained.

York added, “We envision a series that includes elements of several very successful programs, yet is a distinctly new concept in the way these ideas are brought together.”

“The series concept combines an exciting synergy involving U.S. military and intelligence people, who show themselves to be very human, with emerging and mysterious phenomena that fascinate millions of people around the world,” according to producer Robert M. Caruso.

These characters are dedicated to getting answers and understanding unusual things going on. They meet adversaries who don’t want them to succeed and pose dangerous threats,” said Caruso.

The show’s development team is currently working on the concept, storylines, character development and related materials.

When the development phase of the project is completed, planned to be by end of summer, the show developers will begin approaching TV networks and others about the series.

Psychic Shows take over TV

As people become more aware and more interested in harnessing the power of the mind, TV shows that showcase this are becoming more and more popular…

Psychics take over at Seven

iStock_000000866199Small Do we live in a world where psychics can solve crimes, investigate Australia’s greatest mysteries and diagnose illness by mere touch?

Well Channel Seven clearly thinks we do. Enter its latest offering The One a show where seven of Australia’s most switched on mystics will use their paranormal skills to compete to be named Australia’s greatest psychic.

But the challenges they will face won’t be easy.

One of the tests involves a young boy ‘lost’ in the bush. The competitors will have to use their abilities to home-in of his location.

Another will involve the psychics trying to find a single piece of contraband in one of 70 shipping containers.

A third will see them taken to a gaol in Melbourne to find the bones of Ned Kelly.

As you’d expect the competitors are a mixed bunch.

There’s a 44-year-old pagan Witch, Rayleen who regularly uses her gifts to help police, and Jason a 37-year-old maths genius with an IQ of 160 who abandoned his medical degree to study philosophy after a near-death experience.

But the contestants aren’t going to get an easy ride. One of the two judges who will decide who goes each week will be Richard Saunders a lifelong paranormal myth-buster and former President of ‘Australian Skeptics’.

Joining Saunders as a judge is Witch Stacey DeMarco. While the judges will decide who goes week to week – the public will decide by phone voting who is ‘The One’ of the last two contestants.

During the show the psychics will display a range of skills from Clairvoyance to Psychometry or object reading, from Remote Viewing to Mediumship (speaking to the dead). Telepathy and Fortune Telling will also feature.

Monks Remote View UFO Intervention to Save the World in 2012

Remote viewing Tibetan monks see Extra Terrestrial powers saving the World from destroying itself in 2012

N.K. Subramanium, Special Correspondent, India Daily

Remote viewing is nothing new in Tibetan monasteries. For thousands of years remote viewing in the middle of other spiritual activities have dominated Tibetan culture. What some Indian tourists came to learn from a few Tibetan monasteries under the current Chinese rule is extremely alarming and fascinating.

According to these tourists remote viewers are seeing world powers in the course of self-destruction. They also see that the world will not be destroyed. Between now and 2012 the world super powers will continue to engage in regional wars. Terrorism and covert war will be the main problem. In world politics something will happen in and around 2010. At that time the world powers will threaten to destroy each other.

iStock_000000627571SmallBetween 2010 and 2012, the whole world will get polarized and prepare for the ultimate dooms day. Heavy political maneuvers and negotiations will take place with little progress.

In 2012, the world will start plunging into a total destructive nuclear war.

And at that time something remarkable will happen, says, Buddhist monk of Tibet. Supernatural divine powers will intervene. The destiny of the world is not to self-destruct at this time.

Scientific interpretation of the monks’ statements makes it evident that the Extra Terrestrial powers are watching us every step of the way. They will intervene in 2012 and save the world from self-destruction.

When asked about recent UFO sightings in India and China, the monks smiled and said the divine powers are watching us all. Mankind cannot and will not be allowed to alter the future to that great extent.

Every human being though their current acts in life called ‘Karma’ can alter the future lives to some extent, but changing the destiny in that large extent will not be allowed to that great an extent.

Monks also mentioned that beyond 2012 our current civilization would understand that the final frontier of science and technology is in area of spirituality and not material physics and chemistry. Beyond 2012, out technologies will take a different direction. People will learn the essence of spirituality, the relation between body and the soul, the reincarnation and the fact we are connected with each other are all part of ‘God’.

In India and China UFO sightings have increased in many folds. Many say the Chinese and Indian Governments are being contacted by the Extra Terrestrials.

In recent days most UFO activities have been seen in those countries who have indigenously developed Nuke capabilities.

When asked if these extra-terrestrials will show up in reality in 2012, the answers remote viewers are giving is: they will reveal themselves in such a way that none of us scared. They will reveal themselves only if they have to. As our science and technology progresses, we are destined to see them and interact with them any way.

According to the remote viewers, our earth is blessed and is being saved continuously from all kinds of hazards all the time that we are not even aware of. As our technologies progress we will realize how external forces saved us.
