A Nervous Breakdown Countdown

Are You Prepared?

Ever since the transition period started, I’ve been reading the headlines nervously. Here’s a sample of today’s headlines:

U.S. Shifts Focus in Credit Bailout to the Consumer

New York Times By Edmund L. Andrews, November 12, 2008

WASHINGTON — The Treasury Department on Wednesday officially abandoned the    original strategy behind its $700 billion effort to rescue the financial system, as administration officials acknowledged that banks and financial institutions were as unwilling as ever to lend to consumers.

Paterson Calls for $5.2 Billion in Budget Cuts

New York Times By Danny Hakim, November 12, 2008

ALBANY — State aid to schools and hospitals across the state would be cut sharply in the coming four months and thousands of state workers would be asked to defer five days of pay under an emergency deficit reduction plan unveiled by Gov. David A. Paterson on Wednesday.

Stocks tumble near 2008 lows on more grim economic news

USA Today By Adam Shell, November 12, 2008

NEW YORK — Hurt by a fresh barrage of bad news on the economy, jobs and corporate profits, the broad U.S. stock market continued its free fall Wednesday, edging ever closer to last month’s bear market lows.

How do these make you feel?

Well, here’s how I feel. Here’s $700 billion of our taxpayers money on the line, and the original strategy is abandoned? This begs me to ask if they really know what they’re doing, or are they running from back-up plan to back-up plan? And what are the results so far? More budget cuts to our schools and hospitals while stocks continue to tumble down.

Tell me, does this really make you feel secure?

I don’t know about you, but I get that awful feeling that Bush is trying his best to make up for the last 8 years in his last few months, and it seems to be a desperate effort. I don’t know how many back-up plans he has up his sleeve, but I’m certainly not holding my breath counting down for change. This may not be an official State of Emergency, but it sure rings the alarm bells in my head.

The only thing I know for sure is if you want to be unaffected by the transition period, you have to step up and take things into your own hands. This is what I’m working on. And this is what I’ll be sharing with you soon.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Cheers,
Michael

A government of the People, for the People, by the People. I have learned those words, where is the example. (Michael you opened this discussion on politics.) In the beginning of his term before 9–11 President Bush put forth a agenda of reducing government waste and later of reducing taxes. It all was pushed aside by congress. Pres did not fight against overwhelming odds on any one issue cause there were many many issues so he would then just move on to another issue and get as much done as he could before he was trumped by the congress estiblishment on that issue as well then move on again. I think that in the nearly 8 years that he has been Commander in Chief he has done a much better job than I may have done but now we have a change comming. As per a comment left by a woman from england, I think that we will find out what it will be like to have a President that sings the song of socialism. Carbon taxes on our gasoline and on our electricity, restrictions on firearms and massive taxes on anmmunition and one by one take the guns away. Sensor the radion talk programs. Tax us for global warming while the earth is entering a cooling cycle so that we cannot buy fuel to be warm. Tax gasoline so that we pay more and more for our food. Soon we will become more equal in this country, take away from those who have some comforts so that there is no jelousy by those who do not. Make the “American Dream” indo a memory of better times. A dream like those had by a man in jail for the rest of his life as he sits in his cell and dreams of the past. It is not what I think of as the american dream. The radio, soon trhere will not be unpleasantness on the radio unless it is news of a flood or traffic accident because the dissatisified consertavie talk radio will be gone so that we citizens will not become irritated with our asigned tasks. Like a horse pulling a wagon for hay. No reason to give grain to a wagon horse it is living just fine eating grass hay cause it does not know about grain. Then after the radio is silenced I wonder what will be next? Maybe the internet? I originally purchased my first internet connection so that I could talk around the world to other people in other countries and learn what it is like from thier perspective and was I suprised to learn that most older countries have thier own Henry Ford, and thier own Tomas Edison and thier own Write Brothers. I wish I could write some answers here instead of only pointing out problems but the only answers I can think of are to look out for my own interests as well as I can and not vote for any mroe socialists. I am watching the beginning economic collapse from the perspective that I am as safe as I can be. I am not a person who has lived from the means of illusionary wealth. Quite a long time ago, I realized the difference between what I really need and what I do not need. It was at that point I began to understand what is meant by living within your means.
There is a great contrast between what government is saying and what economic experts are saying. I will opt for the expert in his field any day, for they are not sugar coating our situation. For me, knowledge will save the day for it is better to flow in our directed way without a blindfold and blind faith.
I too understand the power of prayer!

I’m surprised to find such negative and ignorant comment above from this guy called David…good you got the internet now to get properly informed! the link to this page and a quest to learn a whole different view on all those “political” issues you have would make the world a better place.
As for the page itself…thank you very much for your effort to share something amazing and indeed it is but..c’mon…stop highlighting the economical crises which it’s actually like working against your purpose. We all know about it and can well research on Websites specialised on that kind of info. What I look for here is for insights and lessons that will guide my mind into a better perspective to then embrace a good vibration to activate the power to get to the other side as if a positive field that we must cross to overcome all that just like walking on a cord between an abism and refuse to look down and around least we fall! hope you agree…otherwise what is the point?

Thomas Jefferson (1802) said : ‘I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.‘
Didn’t he also say “Every generation deserves its own revolution”

Understanding “why” we’re actually on earth would be a good and positive place to start. Having this understanding helps us to rise above the mud and the drama. I highly recommend victorzammit.com for interesting and informative reading.

We can be tossed around by fear and drama or simply rise above it. Not so easy sometimes but something to strive for surely.

Often drastic change takes drastic measures and we surely need change. Maybe this is the price of change. Hopefully we’ll come through this stronger and wiser.

    Hi Michael,

If this economic crisis is man made (which i think it is) by the people behind the veil who pull the strings of the muppets ie president bush, media etc then it’s going to happen anyway. The agenda ‘Globalisation’ is their goal. The big question is, is it for the greater good of mankind? or the super rich manipulating society to their great plan, slavery or dare i say it world peace.

They did it back in the thirties with the great depression , one big money making scam at the expense of human suffering (colLapse the economy then buy it out for peanuts) Are these people human?? or just a thought is this one big distraction for somthing really big about to happen to our planet ie 2012 Ed Dames talks about killshots, niribu fly buy, crop circles etc idont doubt Ed i have his rv course at home, but its the actual time of these so called events are really yet to be mastererd as time is only perceived by us through the concious mind where rv deals with the higher self,God,universe where only the now exists. Any thing manifested has to run the gauntlet of consious time based on your beleif of having your desire come true .

Michael Donald walsch mentioned in your interview with him about individual universes and realities– wow! that idea actually came to me about a month before listening to that interveiw after a session using the mind expanding cd by the amazing Gerald O’Donnell and his rv and ri course. (Try explaning that to the wife) tip– dont go there!
Anybody experiencing any fear about future events i found reading Michael Sharp helped alot he has a website and you can read his free e-books online, there is an alternative view of whats going on right now and it is an exciting one!its all about the great awakening you’ll see.!give it a go. No matter what happens in life we can flourish and thrive its your reality, we are all creators in this illusion we have free will and choice decide what we want believe and let your higher self guide you.

Anybody would like to share there ideas please get in touch id love to chat with you. Lets all stick together on this one.

    Many thank’s

Well… if the big banks want to use that money, not to help the consumer keep their homes and instead buy up the smaller banks… then where is our country heading? Will they try to revive the North American Union and the Amero so they can buy up more banks in Canada and Mexico?

Great conversation. Thanks for the inspiration to respond. …Where we are today is based upon past choices that we have all participated in. Where we will be tomorrow is based upon our choices of today. Old systems are falling away because they no longer support life and the potential of what we can be. (what we already are, but have not recognized.) We have been put to sleep and have/had become comfortable. We are going through a transition and change. Nothing wrong with that, we do it all the time everyday. (that’s why we have yard sales, or change our wardrobe or furniture. It no longer represents who we are.)
Change is always uncomfortable to those who resist, but it is happening to shake out the greatness in yourselves/ourselves.

We have within us something so much greater than what this old system has/had to offer that it is crumbling away to give us an opportunity to create something greater using higher visions of ourselves. We give waaay too much power, time and energy to him and them that we miss seeing and recognizing the power and greatness we have within ourselves. We have a THE POWER inside of us. Like John F. Kennedy said, “Imagination is the preview os life’s coming attractions.” We must begin to think outside the box and rise above the current illusory reality of this old system and take joy in creating higher visions of what we want to see.

What will you imagine? (What will we imagine?) You were born here at this moment, at this place and time for a reason and purpose that is relevant to this era. I can almost guarantee you that it is not to stay focused all day on punching clocks, paying bills and worrying about bailouts. (We created the monetary system, we chose to participate in it and depend on it. We can always change that idea and create a system that does not use money or revamp the current system. It may take some time, but we have done it before, we can do it again. It’s in our hands.)

    Back to your purpose:
What is the gift you were born to give the world? We must all seek to find it, be guided by it and give it to the world. If not you, who? If not now, when? The choice is yours, which comes from you and is yours and ours.
    Peace and blessings,
    Cynetha (peacemaker)

It seems to me that the whole bailout plan was a knee-jerk reaction to a very predictable financial problem. A knee-jerk reaction is the fight or flight reaction and only appropriate when something bigger than you is about to make you lunch.
The bailout doesn’t, however scare me. The government is not my source. This reminds of the old adage about giving someone enough rope.…..
Do not focus or concentrate on the fear. Concentrate, instead, on your own abundance. Remember the strangest secret? You become what you think about all day long.
Fear is a terrible way to live. Use that fear to trigger another, healthier response, perhaps something like a positive affirmation about being healthy, wealthy or happy.
Finally, is there anything you can do about it? If not, refuse to be caught up in the fear. It is just another knee-jerk response. If there is something you can do about it, just do it to the best of your ability and get on with living a happy and abundant life.

I am so pleased the whole phoney shebang is collapsing.

This has been one GIANT Chimera and I’m amazed so many people thought it was ok, mainly because it was so comfortable.

Speaking of Remote Viewing: about 20 years ago, I sat speaking with a friend; we normally discussed the state of the world for hours on end. I suggested to him at that time that somewhere down the road they would start giving people ‘free’ money, just to get them to buy things. I couldn’t have been closer to the truth with the predatory lending of money through credit cards and easy loans/ mortgages et al. How clearly I saw it, so far in the past. It’s all interesting, and the fall is not over yet.. it’s a long way down my friends. I find this particular phase of history ‘interesting’.. as in the Chinese curse, ‘may you live in interesting times.’

David and Cynetha, I love both your comments, and both ring true for me. With this new socialistic administration we will be losing our freedoms, I agree we need change but change that protects our freedom to choose.

My husband and I saw this coming a while ago and prepared. The kids are out of the house and out of college. We paid our off our house, all our cars, paid off all credit cards, invested some and put some cash away in a safe place so we have access to it. We grow our own organic vegetables and are planning to be much more energy independent and are working toward a more sustainable way of life.

A government for the people by the people is fading fast and we are letting it happen. We are giving our freedom away, the freedom so many Americans have died for. I want to be able to “choose” to own a gun or listen to conservative radio if I choose — if I don’t I can turn the radio to another station.

Socialism, in theory sounds good, take from the rich to give to the poor, provide for those not willing or unable to work, but look at history and see how it played out. We need to encourage our young people to go for it, the universe is the limit and if you make money you can keep it for your retirement and your children.

We also need to remember the spiritual side of this whole situation. This was all foretold but we can “change” the future to one of prosperity, abundance, and spiritual renewal. To a society that allows one to succeed and prosper, and a society that helps out the neighbors in time of need.

We don’t need the government in every aspect of our existence. Your place of worship, your family and your community should be there to help in times of need.

I wonder what all the remote viewers are seeing at this time?

First,to quote “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”, don’t panic. Cetainly, there is a need to reexamine the concept of wealth and how it is created. Once that is done apply that knowledge to the situation at hand. What others see as a catastrophe in the making is an opportunity to the one with knowledge. Remember that during the depression there were people who made fortunes. This is the nature of the “invisible hand” (Adam Smith) of the free market economy. It’s similiar to the principle of evolution. Some things (species) die off to make room for new things (species)that are more fit.

I guess every one needs reminding that The congress was fully controlled by the republican majority for the first 6 years of the Bush administration. If in fact congress trumped Bush’s plan as is suggested. There must have been a reason.

    November 13, 2008 | 10:05 am

david again, I heard a news reporter stating the it was bad because a company in some state could not borrow money to pay his employees. I am thinking to myself “do I want to be employed by a company that must borrow money to pay my wages?” We all do what we must do to survive financially and it is nessacary for some of us to work where we can find a job period, no matter if it is a strong solid company or not. But it seems to me that for nearly a generation our economy is based on borrowing money and making payments all of our lives to others whos lively hood depends on that interest being paid by the borrowers. now for what ever reason be it contrived by manipulating the financial world or by OPEC and similar forces creating great cost for energy we are in the position that we are in and it is what we must deal with. In WWII, before my time this country and all persons in this country pulled togeather and we built the most powerfull military force that this planet had ever seen in a matter of a year or two. When John F. Kenedy said we are going to the moon in 10 years we did it and surpassed the wildest dreams of those who had thought of it. In this time and place where we are living it seems to me that each person only looks for how they can take what thier neighbor has to benefit them selves. The USA has become a nation of those preying on others and those preyed upon. We all wish to point the finger at someone other than ourselves like in the last few years it has been President Bush and in the next few years we can Blame President Obama. But in the end it is all of us in this powerfull nation who must blame outselves. We want it we buy it and give no thought to how we will pay for it. Our whole lives are focused around possesions and money. My wife is from a country where they are poor in possisions and they are rich in human deeds. They stop thier lives to honor those of thier famailies who live in cemeteries and they stop the whole country and redirect the roads on days when the people go to visit thier past ancestors. They have a much firmer grasp of what is important in this short life that we have here on this world. I suggest as an addition to my first letter that we all look into ourselves and do what is good and fair and there will be no serious problems to worry about. We mostly have food and clothing and places to live what is it it that is making so many people upset? Life is not all roses. What makes us who we are is how we deal with lifes problems, so lets get to going and deal with it today and tomorrow we will deal with what comes tomorrow. We have good food in this country we have good hospitals and doctors, we have longer lifespans, we have machines that do most of the vary hard work nessacary for us to live. So lets quit whining.

That is right the democract’s screwed us over the last two years and it is coming into play now. People voted for change, I say becareful what you wish for. The change we get may not be what we want ‚not all change is good change. I’m not rich but i don’t thick i deserve what someone has worked hard for. My grandparent’s left russia before it went comunist for a reason. It look like our freedom is in Jepordy with Obama could he be the final World leader fortold about. My little nightmare!!! Whilst sitting Remotely viewing in a deep dark forest in the uk.…..

The next! 4 years ahead have turned to shadow, So much so in fact that many did not survive the second year as shock of poverty and starvation, Dispair and weakness had already taken many lives. whilst bitterness and hate have taken many others. This was just the light being extinguished as the farmer tightened his belt. much evil in man came seeking to steal the seeds of life, Only a few had realised the route ahead was to seek refuge away from the masses because safety in numbers was not an option. these minority riding the storm Showing patience and humility, whilst they watched from afar, (as man grasped and clambered hopelessly trying to recover there old false lives of cream cakes and shiny toys) nature and disease came together with the watchers imune systems and evolved these survivors overnight in to completly Diff’rent creatures whom inherited a new world to start all over again.….….… END of Nightmare/Dream

And they all lived happily ever after lol.….…..
Weird dream. must stop watching the news. Or is it the news.?
