It is representative of a world-wide civilization that died out tens of thousands of years ago. The famous island of Atlantis, written about thousands of years ago, was one of the last remaining remnants of that civilization. Why are people still trying to find a small island that was "Atlantis"? There is evidence scattered all around the world that points to a civilization that surpassed us in some ways. After all these years, about all that remains are the largest stone structures, which would be difficult for us to reproduce today even with our technology and machinery. Modern "Science" refuses to consider the possibility, so they throw out the evidence. To even investigate the evidence can mean the end of a scientist's reputation and career. When the truth finally becomes too overwhelming to deny, and the modern scientists are brought in kicking and screaming to finally examine it "scientifically", people will wonder how we ever could have been surrounded by so much evidence and not recognized the truth.
