There are people who are skeptics and would turn their back on the truth, while others are either lukewarm on the idea (ie they think it's real but are too lazy to do anything about it), and others would get involved in opening their mind and discovering their (now not so) secret abilities. Some people turn their back on truths like this while others are training in RV. Some people are barely making any decisions for themselves and this continues to give government its power. Sony's experiments likely never did shut down (gosh, a lie!)and have likely given plenty of fuel to ideas about controlling game products by the consumers' own minds directly, but will they release anything soon, no. One reason is it's a big step, they need to condition us to accept such a thing. You never know - the whole brainwave patterns influencing entertainment could come out in the near future! The viewer would experience the movie as a character. He would be able to make choices according to available preferences. Of course, if technology proceeds from there, we might end up with a real "Matrix" with artificial intelligence like Skynet taking over our minds and using us as batteries. Where's Neo?
