Did Nostradamus Remote View All His Famous Prophecies? 0

This is something even I am unsure of. But it would be extremely interesting if Nostradamus, the world’s most famous seer, utilized remote viewing for his many, extremely accurate predictions.

Nostradamus – A Fellow Remote Viewer?

http://beyondthebeat.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/nostradamus_by_lemud.jpgIn the 505 years since his birth, Nostradamus (December 14, 1503 – July 1, 1566), born Michel de Nostredame, has become one of the most vivid personalities in human history.

If we completely believe his prophecies, we will have to admit that the actual laws of the Universe are different from those accepted by modern science. According to Einstein, time and space are bound together and form a common gravity field, with the future just a point of origin on the coordinate axis, where the present happens simultaneously with the “clock striking on the hour.”

According to Nostradamus, our future exists somewhere beyond time; it has almost happened already and is vaguely visible in the distance, first as if through a veil of fog, and then becomes increasingly more clear. Finally, the fog lifts, and with every strike of the clock, the future comes to meet us as our present.

Extended Remote Viewing 0

There are various versions of remote viewing. One rather popular version, I’ve noticed, is extended remote viewing and quite a number of people seem to practice it. I thought I’d share with you this woman’s experience and why she’s chosen to practice it.

Anne’s Take On Extended Remote Viewing

reaching spiritual awareness

Some of you may be curious as to which version of remote viewing I use, as there are many.

I selected Extended Remote Viewing based on my belief system. From my meditation and travels I have seen that we are all connected energy, that time and space can be transcended, and that ego generates the illusion of separation.

How do these things tie in together and relate to ERV? If we are all connected energy, that means, at the highest level, I am not separate from you. If time and space can be transcended, and we are connected, then I can see any event or person at any time. When we are awake, we are in beta which brings ego to the forefront of our awareness (separation). However, we can chose to induce other states of awareness (such as theta) and distance ourselves from ego. You might say that theta puts you on the “energy network” where we have access to one another, and that beta is your “stand alone” system.

Revealed: Remote Viewing Use In UK “War On Terror” 0

A few days ago I posted declassified UK Ministry of Defense study findings on remote viewing. I’m sure you noticed the many blackouts left on the documents prior to declassification. There were a few speculations made on the purpose of all the research and a number of people seem to agree that it was spurred by the 9/11 tragedy. Here’s something I found by a UK daily on the UK debut of “Fringe”, a US TV Show by JJ Abrams.

How the UK Government studied remote viewing for use in war on terror revealed on TV.

SECRET documents have revealed the MoD have been studying the paranormal and other unexplained scientific phenomenon for use in the war against terror.

The newly released files show that just after 9/11, the Ministry of Defence conducted a research project into psychics – with the possibility they could be used to locate terrorist cells.

Last night saw the UK debut of the eagerly anticipated US TV show Fringe, which takes its name from fringe science, an umbrella term for such bizarre notions as ghosts, UFOs, psychics and invisibility.

The series, from JJ Abrams, the creator of Lost, centres on FBI agent Olivia Dunham and uses paranormal plots following in the X-Files tradition.

Coincidentally, as the show takes off, the truth of just how seriously our Government have taken fringe science is slowly emerging.

As Abrams has said: “Though you could say it’s science fiction, the weird thing about Fringe is that a lot of the stuff is at least in the realm of possibility.

Prominent Members of the Remote Viewing Community Question Twitter Experiment 0

The Twitter remote viewing experiment was widespread and well-documented as a failure. In fact, I have blogged about the experiment here. I found this article written by the President of the International Remote Viewing Association and his thoughts on the experiment. I found it interesting, so I figured I’d share it with other enthusiasts like myself.

Questions Details of Twitter Remote Viewing Experiment

http://blog.learnremoteviewing.com/files/2009/06/twitter.png

In just the past few days, parapsychologist and skeptic Dr. Richard Wiseman has launched an innovative experiment on the Internet-based social networking service Twitter which aims to test the reality of the ESP-based phenomenon known as remote viewing (RV). In the tradition of similar mass experiments such as that conducted by Stephan Schwartz’s Moebius Group via Omni magazine in the 1980s, Dr. Wiseman hopes to enlist the aid of everyday humans in creating a large statistical sampling that will either tell for or against remote viewing.

The International Remote Viewing Association, founded in 1999 by prominent former military and civilian members of the remote viewing community to disseminate information about and responsible investigation into remote viewing, applauds the imaginative way Dr. Richard Wiseman is using Twitter to explore the existence of this interesting phenomenon. We find the premise behind the experiment’s structure to be interesting and generally sound, and wish Dr. Wiseman well in demonstrating a successful outcome once all results are calculated.

Scientific Evidence Of Human Psychic And Remote Viewing Ability 0

Remote viewing seems to be getting more media coverage and scientific attention. I found a rather detailed account on a scientific study that I thought you may enjoy. Perhaps with increasing scientific research that results in clinical significance on the impact of remote viewing, the world will not be so quick to dismiss this wonder.

Scientists: Psychic Powers And Remote Viewing May Not Be So Far-fetched After All

 Psychic proof

Dr Chris Roe places a pair of enormous fluffy earphones over the head of a blonde 20-year-old woman. He carefully slices a ping-pong ball in half and tapes each piece over her eyes. Then he switches on a red light that bathes the woman in an eerie glow, and leaves the room.

After a few moments, a low hum begins to fill the laboratory and the woman begins smiling sweetly to herself as images of distant locations start to pass through her mind. She says she can sense a group of trees and a babbling brook full of boulders. Standing on a boulder is her friend Jack. He’s waving at her and smiling. She begins to describe the location to Dr Roe.

Half a mile away, her friend Jack is, indeed, standing on a boulder in a stream. Somehow, the woman has been able to “see” Jack in her mind’s eye, even though all of conventional science – and common sense – says it is impossible.

Is this simply a bizarre coincidence?

Or could it be proof that we all possess psychic powers of the type popularised in such films as Minority Report?

That is what Dr Roe is investigating.

Remote Viewing “For UK Eyes Only” Now For Yours Too 1

I previously posted an article about the UK Ministry of Defense admitting their foray into remote viewing research here, but I don’t think I shared the actual files with you. I just came across them while doing some reading and thought you might find them intriguing.

The Ministry of Defense Shares Their Remote Viewing Findings!

picture-2

A study was undertaken in 2001-2002 to investigate theories about capabilities to gather information remotely about what people may be seeing and to determine the potential value, if any, of such theories to Defence.

The Ministry of Defence has released the findings of this study in response to a Freedom of Information request and we are pleased to now make it available to a wider audience via the MOD Freedom of Information Disclosure Log.

General Protocols of Remote Viewing 0

I was surfing around for more information when I stumbled upon this rather informative article. Most remote viewing enthusiasts are aware of the general protocols of remote viewing but I still find it useful to read up and remind myself of them once in awhile.

Protocols of Remote Viewing

http://blog.learnremoteviewing.com/page/files/RemoteViewingTop10List_D353/14ladder.jpg

Under the remote viewing family of protocols, the viewer is blind to the target, i.e. is not explicitly told what the target is; rather it is specified in one of several ways. One common method is that the target is described either in writing or by a photograph or by some set of coordinates (e.g. latitude & longitude), the latter of which may be encrypted.

The description is then placed in a double-set of opaque envelopes which may be shown to the viewer or its location described to the viewer, but which the viewer is not allowed to touch or open during the viewing session. The viewer then writes down whatever information he can gather about the target, typically including drawings and gestalt impressions as well as visual details (and sometimes auditory or kinesthetic details as well). The viewing session is often administered or facilitated by a second person called the monitor.

The output of the viewing session is evaluated by a third person, the analyst or evaluator, who matches or ranks the output against a pool consisting of the actual target with some number of decoy or dummy targets. In research scenarios (experiments) the monitor and analyst are also blind to the target along with the viewer until the evaluation is complete. The viewer is typically given information about the target after the evaluation is complete, especially during training sessions.

The Key To Mastering Remote Viewing 1

Hey guys. I found this amazing list of scientific remote viewing terms that will help anyone – beginner, intermediate or advanced. I think familiarizing ourselves basic terminology in any aspect of the topic can help anyone advance their remote viewing knowledge.

Learn Scientific Remote Viewing Vocabulary

http://blog.learnremoteviewing.com/page/files/FindlostitemsusingRemoteViewing_D151/stockxpertcom_id100209_size1.jpg

Advanced SRV – Of the three current forms of SRV (Basic, Enhanced, and Advanced) that are used to describe physical targets, this is the most sophisticated. It involves the use of complex pre-printed templates, highly-structured spacial and temporal moving exercises, and significant detail in sketching, probing, and analysis. The intent of the Advanced SRV procedures is to assist the viewer in assembling a more coherent picture of the target by “gluing” various partial perceptions together. This is often used to produce a map of the target and its surrounding environment.

Basic SRV – This is a version of SRV that is used by all beginning viewers. It incorporates all of the essential components of Enhanced SRV, but it does not utilize some of the more advanced sketching and movement procedures.

Bilocation – At some point during the SRV session, the viewer’s attention is so strongly directed toward the target that the viewer’s awareness is split between his or her physical location and the target site.

Concepts – these are intangible attributes of something that is perceived using SRV. For example, the ideas of “good” or “important” are concepts.

Cue – one or more words used at various points during an SRV session in order to direct a remote viewer’s perception to focus on a target, or perhaps to perceive specialized information for a target. The first cues used in a remote-viewing session are the target coordinate numbers. Subsequent cues are entered into the Phase 4 matrix.

Data types – When remote-viewing sessions are conducted under certain conditions, the data obtained from those sessions are classified as being of a certain “type.” There are six types of remote-viewing data.

Type 1: Solo, viewer front loaded (rarely done, data are usually of poor quality)
Type 2: Solo, viewer blind, target selected from a pre-determined list of targets by a computer or some other tasking device (commonly done)
Type 3: Solo, viewer blind, target assigned by a human tasker (commonly done)
Type 4: Monitored session with monitor front-loaded and viewer blind (very common during training)
Type 5: Monitored session, monitor and viewer blind (commonly done)
Type 6: Monitor and viewer front-loaded (rarely done, data are usually of poor quality)

Remote Viewing – It’s Not That New After All! 1

Because I’m so enthusiastic about remote viewing, I enjoy reading up as much as I can not only on techniques and exercises but also how this amazing phenomenon was birthed. This article is a joy to read and it briefs you, my fellow enthusiast, on a very detailed (and possibly surprising) history of the wonder that is remote viewing.

Remote Viewing — A Historical Account

If God held all truth concealed in his right hand and in his left hand the persistent striving for the truth… and should say, “Choose!”  I should humbly bow before his left hand and say, ‘Father, give me striving.  For pure truth is for thee alone.’
—Gotthold Lessing

Let me begin by saying that as I have studied in the various civilian and military universities I have attended; I have been witnesses to, and personally held many academic and intellectual views on what the “truth” is about many things.  The author, Felipe Fernandez-Armesto wrote, ‘truth, time and history are found in paintings and not in books [or essays] born of the recollections of others.’  As I grow older, I have come to maintain that truth has been and always will be, a matter of one’s perception, captured and held briefly in the moment, and then faded into memory.  I teach a segment in Phase I of the Coordinate Remote Viewing class, on truth or reality, as it exists only in the moment, whereas all else in the future or the past is illusion—becoming increasing possibilities in time, increasing interpretations, increasing angles of reconstruction, increasing notions, and amalgams of ideas and emotions.  Even when there is an alleged consensus of opinion or recollection of the past—it is really only interpretive data that is “agreed upon.”  Recollection is not fact, in fact, it is only fiction… a creation born in the minds of those who agreed on a version to suit their own agenda… whatever that agenda may be.

For those interested in the “truth” of the latter, you can search the mathematical explanation for these notions, which are supported in the work of physicist and Nobel laureate, P. Dirac, Ph.D.  Time drags truth into history, but history itself does not care, only those who attempt to record and recount it care; and they fall victim to their own perceptions and willing acceptance of what is—according to them.  The truth about Remote Viewing is trapped between fundamentalists, who believe they have the only truth, and relativists, who refuse to pin it down.
