Remote View­ing: It’s Birth And Journey

This time­line details United States gov­ern­ment devel­op­ment of para­psy­chol­ogy for mil­i­tary intel­li­gence pur­poses, lead­ing to a secret CIA-initiated pro­gram that became com­monly known as “remote view­ing.” The time­line reaches to the begin­nings of Cen­tral Intel­li­gence Agency (CIA) mind research and exper­i­men­ta­tion in the late 1940s, and includes par­al­lel infor­ma­tion on sim­i­lar research being car­ried out simul­ta­ne­ously in the Soviet Union dur­ing the Cold War.

Because of a secret con­tract between the CIA and highly trained Sci­en­tol­o­gists at the incep­tion of the CIA-initiated remote view­ing pro­gram, events related to Sci­en­tol­ogy and L. Ron Hub­bard that led up to the unlikely mar­riage of CIA and Sci­en­tol­ogy are included.

Also included are key events involv­ing CIA and other U.S. intel­li­gence agen­cies that are par­al­lel to the evo­lu­tion of remote view­ing, and that are linked to its devel­op­ment in ways that are as inex­plic­a­ble as they are inex­tri­ca­ble.
