Ingo Swann, Stargate and Remote Viewing

Ingo SwannColorado native Ingo Swann is probably the single most famous remote viewer in history. In fact he, along with Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff are credited with creating (or at least, naming) the art of remote viewing. They developed the system with experiments at the Stanford Research Institute which quickly drew the attention of the CIA. Swann is also credited as one of the Stargate Project’s initiators.

Coordinate Remote Viewing, the process of viewing a location based solely on geographic coordinates, was first proposed by Swann, then developed and tested with CIA funding by Targ and Puthoff.

The well-known paranormalist Uri Geller thought highly of Swann’s abilities. Both men’s remote viewing skills were tested by Targ and Puthoff. Geller once said, “”If you were blind and a man appeared who could teach you to see with mind power, you would revere him as a guru. So why is Ingo Swann ignored by publishers and forced to publish his astounding life story on the Internet?”

He considers himself a ‘conscious researcher’ and denies any claims that he himself is a ‘psychic’.In fact, between 1972 and 1979, Ingo Swann explored using his skills for detective work with unimpressive results. He claimed that of the 25 cases he worked on, 22 “were flops.”

Swann has written several books including:

- Kiss Earth Good-bye: Adventures and Discoveries in the Nonmaterial, Recounted by the Man who has Astounded Physicists and Parapsychologists Throughout the World

- Everybody’s Guide to Natural Esp: Unlocking the Extrasensory Power of Your Mind

- Your Nostradamus Factor – Accessing Your Innate Ability to See Into the Future

- Psychic sexuality: The bio-psychic “anatomy” of sexual energies

- What Will Happen to You When the Soviets Take Over?

- Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy, his autobiography.

I have six of his books. Secrets Of Power, Psychic Sexuality, and others. I would have to say that when I reread Psychic Sexuality it ignited my passion for 'exploration' again. Read whatever materials of his that you can. You will be glad you invested the time and effort.
