All the evidence concerning Remote Viewing points to it being an undeniable phenomena. Jessica Utts in another great report on remote Viewing shares some very interesting findings. She also illustrates what the pathway forward for Remote Viewing should be.

It's about time that we stopped testing for evidence of Remote Viewing. She shares that it's time to ask a lot more pertinent questions such as:

"How does this ability work?"

She goes on to describe her vision:

"I am confident that the questions are no more elusive than any other questions in science dealing with small to medium sized effects, and that if appropriate resources are targeted to appropriate questions, we can have answers within the next decade."

Usefulness of Remote Viewing

Even if we were all to agree that anomalous cognition is possible, there remains the question of whether or not it would have any practical use for government purposes.  Some speculations can be made about how to increase the usefulness.

3 Great Findings on Remote Viewing

1) Individual Differences

First, it appears that anomalous cognition is to some extent possible in the general population. None of the ganzfeld experiments used exclusively selected subjects. However, it also appears that certain individuals possess more talent than others, and that it is easier to find those individuals than to train people. It also appears to be the case that certain individuals are better at some tasks than others. For instance, Viewer 372 at SAIC appears to have a facility with describing technical sites.

2) Users Trained on its Potential

Second, if remote viewing is to be useful, the end users must be trained in what it can do and what it cannot. Given our current level of understanding, it is rarely 100 percent accurate, and there is no reliable way to learn what is accurate and what is not. The same is probably true of most sources of intelligence data.

3) Breadth of its Uses

Third, what is useful for one purpose may not be useful for another. For instance, suppose a remote viewer could describe the setting in which a hostage is being held. That information may not be any use at all to those unfamiliar with the territory, but could be useful to those familiar with it.

Remote Viewing: Where Next?

It is clear to this author that anomalous cognition is possible and has been demonstrated. This conclusion is not based on belief, but rather on commonly accepted scientific criteria. The phenomenon has been replicated in a number of forms across laboratories and cultures.

The various experiments in which it has been observed have been different enough that if some subtle methodological problems can explain the results, then there would have to be a different explanation for each type of experiment, yet the impact would have to be similar across experiments and laboratories. If fraud were responsible, similarly, it would require an equivalent amount of fraud on the part of a large number of experimenters or an even larger number of subjects.

What is not so clear is that we have progressed very far in understanding the mechanism for anomalous cognition. Senders do not appear to be necessary at all; feedback of the correct answer may or may not be necessary. Distance in time and space do not seem to be an impediment. Beyond those conclusions, we know very little.

I believe that it would be wasteful of valuable resources to continue to look for proof. No one who has examined all of the data across laboratories, taken as a collective whole, has been able to suggest methodological or statistical problems to explain the ever-increasing and consistent results to date. Resources should be directed to the pertinent questions about how this ability works.

Brain Waves: Beta Alpha Theta Delta

Brain Waves: Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta, what do they mean, and when do we have them? When you're awake and totally active, your brain waves operate at a level called Beta where they mainly oscillate between 14 to 30 cycles per second. As your mind relaxes and disconnects somehow from the external material world - like when you're daydreaming or meditating, or watching a movie - you enter a more focused, expanded state of awareness where brain wave patterns are mainly composed of Alpha brain waves oscillating at between 8 and 13 cycles per second. When relaxing even more, your mind enters a region that correlates with a large relative quantity of brain wave patterns of 4 to 7 cycles per second. This is the Theta zone of the mind.

The Beta level corresponds to a focus of concentration by the mind upon the outside or perceptually separated world, and the Alpha and Theta levels correspond to a more internally focused, self-reflective state.

There are many types of telepathy test that can help you measure your own psychic ability. While many of these tests can have an element of luck in them, over so many trials, the results can show whether you were guessing or whether you really have some telepathic ability.

Tibetan Monk’s Remote Viewing 2010 – 2012

Gerald O’Donnell and Thoughts on Reality

I am currently attending a weekly study group focused on Remote Viewing/Remote Influencing.  We are practicing the techniques prescribed in Gerald O’Donnell’s courses, although there are many other RV/RI teachers.  I particularly enjoy O’Donnell because he incorporates a great deal of metaphysics in his training.

This Wednesday, our group will open by discussing some of the more “controversial” aspects of what O’Donnell espouses about reality.  I understand this subject could be very far-reaching for some…especially for anyone who hasn’t yet found the courage to venture outside of what religions have taught about creation.  However, I applaud those willing to at least momentarily entertain these ideas to see if some part of what is discovered might resonate with a new understanding of mankind’s role in this experience of being human.  If we are to advance, we must be willing to become pioneers of new thoughts…in other words, we are going to have to step out of the box into uncharted territory to see if we’ve missed something. Unfortunately, a vast majority of the population seems perfectly content with “status quo,” and in this complacency, they unwittingly contribute to the demise of our universe.

Twitter experiment, 'Goats' movie tackle 'remote viewing'

What do a recent Twitter extrasensory perception (ESP) experiment and an upcoming movie starring George Clooney have in common?

Both address the topic of "remote viewing."

Remote viewing refers to a method of using human consciousness to obtain information and understanding about situations, places, things and people that are not known to the remote viewer.

Additionally, the remote viewer has no other means to obtain the information about the "target" other than what is perceived via the mind.

A Medical Cure found by Remote Viewing & My last “I bet you (By John L. Turner, M.D. Neurological Surgeon)"

In December I was at the mid point of my TRV training with Joni Dourif. Prior to training, I had studied the history of RV in depth and had followed PSI TECH’s recommendations by reading Sheldrake’s The Presence of the Past. I was pleased to be able to experience remote viewing during the training, just like it was advertised. However, the day my wife lost her small medication bottle, and Joni said she could easily “remote view” the location, I laughed and doubted her. In fact, I bet her that she could not do it!

Finally, after enough laughter from me, Joni asked for pen and paper. I gladly gave it to her as we had a bet on. I watched her begin with two random four-digit numbers attached to “the target location of missing medication bottle.”

Joni quickly finished the initial stages and produced a sketch of a rectangular device, a transparent window of some sort and what appeared to be a piece of spongy mater
ial. Then I watched in awe as she analyzed the drawing, went to the kitchen sink, fixated on the dish washing sponge. About a foot away from the wet sponge was the toaster oven with a glass lift-up door.

“I wonder..” said Joni as she peeked behind the toaster. There was the missing medication bottle!

Not only did I lose the bet, but also I had to endure Joni’s laughter directed at me. I did not doubt Joni’s TRV competence after that.

Mysteries of the universe abound. There are fundamental questions that our species have been asking since the dawn of human time. What is our purpose here? Who are we? Where did we come from? Where are we going? Who really built the great pyramids of Egypt, and with what technology? Was there life on Mars? Did the universe begin in one momentous big bang, or has it been contracting and expanding in a cyclical eternity? Are there extraterrestrials? Do we share the universe with other beings?
