A group of researches at UCLA have shown that meditation increases brain gray matter!

Here's an excerpt of the report on the research:

In a study published in the journal NeuroImage and currently available online (by subscription), the researchers report that certain regions in the brains of long-term meditators were larger than in a similar control group.

Specifically, meditators showed significantly larger volumes of the hippocampus and areas within the orbito-frontal cortex, the thalamus and the inferior temporal gyrus — all regions known for regulating emotions.

We know that people who consistently meditate have a singular ability to cultivate positive emotions, retain emotional stability and engage in mindful behavior," said Eileen Luders, lead author and a postdoctoral research fellow at the UCLA Laboratory of Neuro Imaging. "The observed differences in brain anatomy might give us a clue why meditators have these exceptional abilities.

More and more, science is showing the exceptional benefits of meditation. But what intrigues me more is how meditation helps you expand your consciousness.

As you know, I recently did an interview with Stephan Schwartz. Stephan said something very interesting about Dr Ian's research on reincarnation -- so while the interview is getting edited, I did some digging shared with you Dr Ian's reincarnation research.

I found your comments really interesting! Some of you agreed that his research supported reincarnation. Some of you had other ideas.

I find this so fascinating that I looked around even more and found this. Now I want to know what do you think of this.

This article discusses the methods used and the results for associate remote viewing for the stock markets including with Remote Viewers who have little to no knowledge of finance.

ASSOCIATIVE REMOTE VIEWING

REMOTE VIEWING is a term coined by Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ to describe a form of psychic functioning historically known as clairvoyance.¹ Dr. Puthoff and Mr. Targ, both formerly with Stanford Research Institute (SRI) International, have researched this phenomenon since the early 1970s, and their results are published in several books.² Their research was concentrated on training selected individuals to "see" or "view" a scene or event that was occurring at a distant location. In addition, the ability to "view" the scene at different times -- past, present and future -- was established.

One particularly significant outcome of this research was the discovery that viewers could reliably access remote information when they were asked to describe a scene, but that they were not as reliable when the target was a number or a letter. This discovery led to the development of associative remote viewing (ARV) in which a scene is associated with a particular message. A group of scenes is chosen, each scene having a different message associated with it. When the viewer's perception corresponds to one of the scenes, the message corresponding to that scene is accepted.

As I've kept looking around for more interesting information on Stephan Schwartz, I found this video of Stephan talking at the Whidbey Institute.  In this video, Stephan presents his trend analysis about where our world seems to be heading in the 21st century.

This is a great insight going right inside deep into the Remote Viewing community, and inside the sheer power of our consciousness.

I've had many people email me and ask me about Remote Viewer Stephan Schwartz. As you probably know, Stephan is a prominent researcher in the field of Remote Viewing and has been featured recently on my blog, and other websites that I subscribe to such as the internets #1 transformation blog FinerMinds.

I was browsing the Coast to Coast website for articles  and recordings featuring Stephan Schwartz. I don't always get to listen to Coast-To-Coast all the time, but this website is great because I downloaded some interviews with Stephan and heard his views on a range of topics. The one thing about Stephan Schwartz that impresses me is that he is knowledgeable about so many different things around Remote Viewing and takes a real interest in the science of it.
